Mad Dog Pee Pee

As I contemplate “The State of US” just 2 days before the 2010 mid-term elections, I am compelled to reconsider my last posit which queried, “How stupid are we?”  Judging by the dust, noise, support, contributions, and media airtime that the likes of the Pee Party is generating, that query was rather inappropriate.  It might have better read “How ludicrous are we?”   Not only does the Pee Party urinate on itself and everyone else with its lack of any discernible evolution or intelligence, its supporters revel in the aromatic spray like drunken Japanese businessmen licking beer off bare-breasted Geishas at 3 am.  But that would disparage the latter.

How to Mutilate Yourself

Being founded on a mantra of “we want change at any cost” is akin to a party of 7 year olds who feel they can do anything just because they want to – even if that is playing with Daddy’s guns because they learned to open the cabinet they were in and don’t care if they kill someone else as they playfully fondle each other in juvenile ignorance as the Pee Pee lyric loop plays … “We don’t care.  Just give us freedom, reduce out taxes, eliminate government program and ‘entitlements’ (whatever they are), and cancel healthcare so we can have a “better life” for our later years and our children.  (Can you spell ignorant?) 

When I asked a southern friend who is a card carrying redneck if they agreed with my perception of the Palin era as a national disgrace, they readily, albeit reluctantly, agreed.  When asked who they voted for in 2008, they readily admitted “Republican”.  When asked why, all they could say was “Well, I’m Republican”.   Any attempts to elicit the supporting logic of that contradiction, invariably ends up with their goal as being to remove the Democrats, and not to improve government.  

Foreign Muslim Chocolates

Pushing further, their innuendo and body language reveal their distaste for a president who is a foreign born, Muslim nigger.  No kidding.  Attempting to push even further into how they came to such insane conclusions, I am blessed with such definitive answers such as: “I saw it on TV”, “from republican rally”, “so and so said it”, the “pee party movement”, and the final authoritative substantiations as “I read it on the Internet”, or “everyone is tweeting about it”.   About that time, as they feel the pain of having to think and use logic, their eyes manifest that common glaze of selfish, bigoted ignorance.

Unfortunately, that echoes the sentiments of a majority of the population who, in the ignorance and lack of evolution at their end of the bell curve, would rather cut off their genitals than to trust anyone they perceive as smarter than them.  This is classic.  Most would rather trust, and hope to control, those they perceive as being as ignorant or lesser than them – whereas those who appear to them as smarter and more capable can use that “power” to control and abuse them. 

Eating the Shaman

This societal intercourse is similar to the cyclical rotation of shamans in some ancient tribes.  A shaman is anointed by the king by nepotism, whim, or popularity.  They produce minor miracles like healing wounds faster by washing them, reducing tooth aches by rubbing them with dirt, making the king’s concubines writhe with a touch of magic.  But, despite the many benefits he brings to the tribe, the ignorant view some clouds, a scarcity of foul, and his magic of lightning and fire from rocks and twigs as signs of evil.  So they stone, dismember, and eat him.  A short time later, as the tribe gets antsy over festering wounds, aching teeth, and the king’s concubines start bitching, he anoints another shaman … and so it goes, round and round. 

For worse or better, we don’t have a king.  We have only ourselves: the evolved, the smart, the intelligent, the mediocre, the dense, the ignorant, the republicans, and the pee pees.  So, it is we who repeatedly anoint, extol, question, kill, and then eat our saviors.

So, here we are.  Our last selection of leaders were ignorant enough for us not to fear, stupid enough to bankrupt the US, naive enough to push our mortgages and retirement onto the gaming tables of Wall St, and corrupt enough to sell our country to big business, and to trade futures on the rape of our most sacred possessions: wellbeing and privacy.

Pilot Fired for Getting Plane Wet

It continues to boggle the intelligent mind about just how myopic, trite, and ignorant we are to blame Obama for this state of affairs that he inherited.  We just landed a crashing jumbo jet; disabled by the previous owners; gliding with no engines; landing on the Hudson River; in Manhattan in the day time; between two bridges and river traffic; didn’t disintegrate the plane or hit anything; and all passengers walked out alive without a major injury. 

So what do we do?  We blame the pilot for getting the wings wet and ask for his resignation.  We are upset that we have among the lowest tax rates in the world.  We complain about healthcare being socialism as we rush our child to emergency when they can’t breathe.

Calling All Republicans!

So, heads up, Republican and Pee Pees, we are doing far too well considering how badly we screwed everyone the last 8 years.  We need to do all we can to stop this improvement.  Vote Republican or Independent – anything but Democrat – the party that consistently does not support our selfishness, greed, arrogance, and aggression.

Voting for the GOP or Pee Party will help stop this progressive amelioration of our condition.  They are your only choice to return us to the way it was before.  Let us restore the fear and uncertainty that fueled our economy and war machines, the selling of tickets to the death of our elderly on the open market, the entrusting of our family funds to machines in backrooms whose glitches nearly wiped out a generation, and, of course, the selfish hoarding of medical treatments and program from those less fortune – like our workers.   If someone has to die, let it be them.

Stop evolution. Stop socialism.
    Stop humanity. Stop intelligence.
        Let us sell your privacy and retirement properly!

Applying the bell curve of statistical distributions  we learned in high school, the distribution of average intelligence would suggest that a few of us are brain dead, some are stupid, many are average, some are smart, and a few are evolved.  However, that premise was seriously challenged by the tsunami of ignorance and stupidity exhibited by the significant percentage of Americans who voted for McCain and Palin despite McCain’s performance being embarrassingly out of touch, slow-witted, and downright childish at times. His only saving grace was his unequivocal service and devotion to country. The fact that Palin was his running mate made it humiliating to be an American when she wasn’t laughed off as a silly and sick  joke.
 
Just as we started to forget that dark episode, like a glass of turned milk we had in the past, up pops Palin to remind us of just how stupid she really is.  Can you believe her rationale for quitting as Alaskan governor with the dumb bimbo logic of “well, y’know, wink, wink, I did it because, y’know, I can do that because, y’know, I can do that, and let us not forget the color of stones is like,  oink, oink, like the side of a barn, doncha know!  So, you see, it would be bad if I didn’t quit! I was doing y’all a favor, docha ya know!”  How can anyone even bother to air such moronic manure? If America is our body, then she’s a case of toe fungus. She needs a rub of anti-bacterial crème.

Just when you thought America couldn’t get any more rancid and smelly, along comes those dangerously stupid town hall participants who stood up and made complete asses of themselves by yelling meaningless garbage and flinging their ignorance like dirty diapers for the world to see.  If Palin is a toe fungus, those sad souls are mindless maggots rolling in their own excrement.  How did these souls become so dumb?  Being  unconscious from a concussion would be genius-like compared to them.  They need help in the form of some real tough love … like blasting their heads with a 1,000 watt megaphone to explain in small words they are being totally stupid, selfish, harmful, disrespectful, and by their complete and utter lack of perception, are showing themselves to be mindless lemmings not worthy of anyone’s time and respect. 

As for those who flaunted weapons at a location where our president spoke, being run over by a police cruiser would be rather fitting.  They are little more than a cancer that needs to be cut out at first detection.  They are not acting as citizens.  They are terrorists, plain and simple.  We can all act stupid, mind you.  The difference is that only those who admit they are acting stupid and crawl under a rock until it passes deserve any respect.  It is these same people who think yelling, posting signs on other people’s property, being obtuse, making babies without limit is a right … much like alpha-rats on a lifeboat who take the last rations because they already used their share too quickly.

As for those who think health care reform is Nazism, will someone close to them tell them they are acting insane, keep them at home, and have intervention to explain what is obvious simple to intelligent beings.  Virtually EVERYTHING being negatively said about is 100% wrong, completely unfounded, and just plain stupid.

1. Obama is a Nazi?
 You are a stupid ass. Go wipe yourself.

2. Healthcare reform is socialism?
Of course it is, you dimwit.  It is being socially responsible.  Those who think that is bad are the ones who want to kill your mother so their mother can live.   They are called Republicans.  The want to ration healthcare to your poor mother according to the policies of private corporations whose sole raison d’être is to make money.  And you were dumb enough to believe it when they said independent medical panels were death squads as compared to current bevy of private bureaucrats who make more money by letting your mommy die.  Now, that’s REALLY dumb!

3. The Public Option is socialism.
Your stupidity knows no bounds.  Duh!  Mommy and Grandma are already protected by Medicare, the Great Public Option.  What, you want don’t want others to have that protection?   I’m sorry to say, that would make you a selfish pig seeking to rip others off for your own greedy benefit.  At least know what you are and go away.  You are an illness that needs treatment. Oh, sorry, I forgot. You don’t want help.  Ok, so go and die.

4. Canada and UK are horrible.
This is another stupidity.   If you had lived in both places, as I have, you’d know that is a fraudulent falsehood perpetrated by the ignorant whose only goal is to discredit those who can think.  In both places, you have as much choice to see who you want, when you want, WITH NO FORMS and NO INSURANCE COMPANIES!   Yes, they don’t have as much expensive equipment as we do but THEY NEED LESS because THEY ARE SICK LESS because they get preventive care!   Yes, our advanced techniques are more exotic.  But they are not available to many here, especially those who can’t afford them.  All facilities there are available to EVERYONE at no additional cost.   Do you NOT realize that US health is in 20th or lower place in the world?    Do you not realize we have almost no clinical support.  Our GP’s are reduced to nothing more than ineffective secretaries who pass patients off to specialists.  Our specialists now book MONTHS out to see you.  My neurologist has a ONE YEAR wait and can only see me for 20 minutes when I manage to have an appointment. And, heaven help you if you cut your finger or have a fever.  You have to go to EMERGENY because our system is so dysfunctional.  And what about all those insurance forms?   It now takes 2-3 physician secretaries in a typical practice just to keep pace.   Heaven help you, the patient.  It is so bad now that a few practices are advertising themselves as “patient friendly”.  What?  Being a good doctor is now something so rare, it’s labeled a specialty?

The bottom line is that we have a terrible, inefficient, costly, ineffective, dysfunctional, unfair, and corrupt medical system that is based on profit and greed,  has no qualms about letting your mother die, and is only good for those with a lot of money and expensive medical plans (as long as you aren’t sick and don’t need them).  That’s the reality and the current Republican supported system.

So, open your damn eyes, find your intelligence, and use those guns you are so insane about owning and showing off on those who are really abusing you and want your mother to die so theirs can live.  Wake up.  Let Obama do what he is trying to do – allowing your mother and everyone else to live as best they can with all the resources of the US!  There is NOTHING NEW here.  We are just extending Medicare to help EVERYONE, just like it does for our elders.   And, if you really want to choose a profiteering commercial company that does NOT care about you, makes private decisions about you without arbitrage, and would rather sooner see you NOT have service, you are free to be stupid enough to do so.

 It is unbelievable any of this has to be explained.  It is so damn obvious.

The saddest part of all is that there are enough of he unedcuated, narrow-minded, gun-toting bullies who dream they will be inducted into the greed team and get rich to potentially get McCain oout of his chair.  The sadder truth is that it is they who will get raped by a McCain big business protection.  So, very sad.

Nothing Left

After a recent attempt by John McCain to charge Barrack Obama as wanting to forcibly redistribute wealth with the help of the judicial branch of the government, it was found that McCain’s campaign fabricated the charge by extracting the single word “redistribute” from a year old interview and lied about not hearing the fact that Obama actually said that it was not valid or appropriate.

Obama was actually speaking of how to make changes in government that result in a better balanced distribution of socioeconomic wealth. The interviewer tried to involve the judicial branch but Obama quickly corrected him.

Having read the above, we were flabbergasted that McCain’s math is so poor that he doesn’t realize that if A+B=C and B is twice as large as A then for A and B to be equal, then B will end up smaller. Translation: McCain wants to support the hording and acquisition of wealth by “B” without regard for “A”. His latest stump speeches go even further to suggest that it is the right of the wealthy to make more without being fettered with concern for those they take it from. They apparently also don’t understand the terms “society” and “zero sum equation”.

McCain-Palin Prance

• Without Platform
  The GOP literally has no platform at this point. In all the events, speeches, and debates McCain has not yet given clear statements of his platform. Instead, he and Palin utter sickening streams of “My friends, we understand your pain. Even though we have no platform, we are mavericks and we will change Washington.” Has America become so stupid as to give the support to such dung? The GOP seems all but gone. Even at its lowest point, it threw more crumbs to the urchins they were supposed to serve.
• GOP Embezzles Middle Class
  McCain’s incessant desire to throw money at upper 5% of the big business population while refusing to give a break to the other 95% strains credulity. He actually said that Exxon needs billions in tax breaks despite their huge profits and bank account. He is a danger to our country which got hijacked by big business interests. We always knew the GOP wanted to whore the US to big business but throwing money so publicly at the profiteers while rapingthe population is not only un-American but an act of econo-terrorism that is no less than treason.
• Economic Rape
  The concept of business having “special support and arrangements” from government is econo-terrorism and a crime against Americans. When did business get such a large free pass for embezzlement on such a grand scale? We are a government of the people, for the people, and by the people. The word “business” is not included. All business, no matter how big or small, can be no more than an obedient servant to the people, its customers. It is a privilege to serve. If business is not willing to do its part of communal sharing, then then it needs to be shut down with extreme prejudice. We have gotten so far off the path that business is now considered “corporate entity” (as in a person ) with own unconstitutional rights to survive with distinct favor over the populace. It seems the GO and McCain in particular thinks it is OK for “business” to abuse as much as it can, get as fat as it can, and after it is completely satiated, hope it will throw some scraps to the populace like Marie Atoinette after an orgy.

• No Financial Plan
  McCain has yet to demonstrate any detailed plan to deal with the failed economy. He repeatedly says he is a good guy who will straighten out Washington. He appears so out of touch that he cannot say anything substantial other then he is old, experienced, and we should trust him because he is, after all, John McCain. Hello, sir, is there anyone home. We are still in the midst of a global financial meltdown. Businesses have raped and pillaged economy until it bled to death – raped, as in wantonly violating the most sacred trust of the populace. There are so many examples and so little time. Hedge funds are but one. The complete failure of the SEC to regulate the markets, thus throwing the world into a massive economic recession is another. Hedge funds are an instrument for the rich to preserve their wealth and control the stock market with massive ownership of stocks. Add to that travesty, the fact that they were allowed to operate in secret, without controls, and to use “naked short selling” to destroy any company for the sake of profit, and you have a clear case of treasonous econo-terrorism. All McCain can say is he wants to continue to support big business and have it, not government, help the people. What? Business, not government, should help the people? The profiteers that destroyed the economy should usurp the power of the government? Is this the dark ages? Are they serious? And let us not forget that other great GOP brainstorm of turning over Social Security to private enterprise and the stock market? We are in very deep waters now and any furterance of such clamatous piloting could well trigger a class warfare. It is too painful to write more on this point.
• McCain Answers to Everything
  “My platform? My friends, I *AM* the platform, I am John McCain, I am old and experienced, and Sara Palin is young, naive, a Hockey Mom, makes babies, and still has a good body, yahoo, rah rah! Gosh (rolling eyes), what more do you need? We are here for REAL AMERICANS … not you smart people in big cities. Not those people in the regions where we are not ahead. Not for those who don’t own a business. Not for those who see our hollow put-ons and dirty underwear. We are here for all the rest of you REAL Americans. Only REAL AMERICANS would vote for us. If you are not one of us, you are an un-American liberal leftist elitist. Kids, can you say commie?
• Palin’s Answers to Everything
  First off, before I say anything, let me say that I will not answer your questions that I promised I would and I will say what I want even though you expect more of me. So, here goes. Friends, *Iiiiiii* understaaaaand you, golly darn. After all, I am a hockey mom. I make babies. My husband is a big guy who rides skidoos. My family is so fertile, even my young daughter got knocked up. I am even on Saturday Night Live. Gee whiz, what more do I need to be? I excite beer drinking couch potatoes who dream of being rich and pretend to be more than they are. I excite women who hope they too can do anything they want with little or no qualifications. Now look at me prance on stage. Notice my high heels pushing up my calves accentuating my not-so-repressed school marm sexuality. Can you feel it? I know you can, Joe. Now look at my body and my accentuated straight-back posture which nicely thrusts out my chest under my Neiman Marcus jacket. That’s for you, too, Joe. Can you feel it, Joe? Oh, I know you do ’cause I am Sara Palin, Hockey Mom (wave, wink, wave). Now see how I strut this wonderful down home package in 3/4 profile back and forth for the cameras. See how I walk sideways to maximize my profile. I know you want it, Joe, but, don’t forget, my man is nearby (wink, wave, wink).
• McCain’s Senior Moments
  We’ve said it before but it’s getting worse. McCain daily utters gibberish and nonsense while rolling his eyes, cultivating jeers and boos, and manufactures such lame attacks on his opponent that even the rank and file of the GOP are publicly grimacing. He shows clear signs of aging when he misspeaks on a daily basis such as when he clearly and strongly AGREED with a fictitious accusation that the constituents he was addressing were essentially dim-witted. It took him many seconds to realize his blunder and tried to remedy it with a confusing babble of words that rivaled the clueless meanderings like that now infamous Miss America contestant emitted a while back. Then there are those disturbing facial movements such as when he extends his tongue all the way out, rolls his eyes in pre-teen mockery of his opponent, blinks his eyes very often and very fast, and feigns hurt over any attempt to call attention to his record all the while his campaign has descended into racism and fear mongering.
• Cultivating Hatred and Rowdiness:
  We are aghast at how McCain and Palin are now openly fostering rowdiness and hatred in their rallies. Do they not know that this is BAD? Are they so low in the gutter that they think inciting riotous behavior is GOOD? Are those at these rallies that demented? There are no explanations for this that are anything but very dire and worrisome. His now classic allowance of his rally goers to call Obama a terrorist and call for his death will go down in modern politics as the worst case of crowd handling since public lynchings of yesteryear. To this day, his only retort has been an utterly stupid, ” My friends. Sara Palin has already pointed out that my opponent ‘pals around with terrorists’ “. As the days to election draw to a close, the lengths to which McCain is willing to abandon common decency and respect, increases beyond belief.
• Palin’s Wardrobe
  Ok, candidates spend gobs on clothes and hair. That is NOT the point of Sara’s latest unbelievable gaffe. Rather, it is that she is blasting everyone about how she is a common working girl, a hockey mom, a gal who doesn’t waste on elitist presentation and clothes, how she will be a super-practical Washington maverick who will defend the common people by eliminating waste and useless spending. Despite that, we now learn she has spent $150,000 on clothes, $20,000 on make- up, and $10,000 on other preening in JUST SIX WEEKS!!! My friends, that is $180,000! Yes, 1/5 of a million dollars! And that doesn’t count the other public money or contributions they are now finding she spent on family and kids. She countered days after the expose it will go to charity. We counter, “1/5 of a million dollars?”
• McCain Not Elitist? He’s worth $50 mill !
  Yet another unbelievable aspect of McCain is how he dares suggest he is “common folk” and his opponent is an elitist when he cannot not only remember how many houses he has but that the number is EIGHT valued at more than $11 million. Equally disturbing is that he did not know how many cars he owns and that the number is a whopping THIRTEEN. This is excess at it’s extreme. Add to that, the McCain’s family fortune of $50 million dollars spread across a wide range of assets that indirectly net the family well over $1 million per year. This is atrocious. Again, not because he is a filthy rich businessman but because he dares to protray himself as “common folk”. What a scheister.
• Palin Fuzzy Faux Pas’
  You would think that having gotten even the simplest questions totally wrong that Palin would learn to answer correctly the next time they were asked. Then there are the outright fabrications and manipulations of her credentials and experience:

  When asked a 3rd time about her foreign policy experience she still answers that she can see Russia, Russia overflies Alaska, and Alaska is next to Canada. Not only is that stupid, but Russia does NOT overfly Alaska for obvious reasons and she cannot see Russia unless she goes to the remote western tip of the Aleutian island chain where Russia is barely visible.

  When asked a 3nd time (by a 3rd grader) what a Vice President does, she answered a VP “runs the senate” and gets things done. Even grade schoolers know a VP works in the Executive Branch, not the Senate and only “presides” in the Senate to cast a tie-breaking vote in the rare case when there is a tie. Altough she may appear “well-equipped” to Joe the Plumber, she is completely ill-equipped for being VP when grade school kids know more than she does.

  Upon disembarking from a campaign trip, she was asked where she went. She couldn’t name where she was 24 hours ago. Yes, she was obviously strained by the campaigning but that is not nearly as stressful as what a full-time VP has to do 24 hours a day.

  She still hasn’t learned that “Joe Six Pack” is the most derogatory thing she could call her supporters. Dear Sara, it means a beer-drinking couch potato. Perhaps John’s wife being the chairwoman of the Henley booze factory influenced you to think such an attribution was cool.

  Recently, days after she was found guilty of ethics violations when she fired her sister-in-law’s ex-husband, she was asked about it. She proudly reported she was found not guilty of breaking the law or any ethics. Is she that stupid or that dangerously abusive of the public trust.

  Palin Liberally Sprinkles “Terrorist”
  Her endless referrals to Obama’s “palling around with terrorists” when everyone knows it was the simple coincidental fact that Obama sat on an education council with republicans, no less, that also included a past militant activist. If that is not bad enough, she delivers this dung while inciting the crowds into fervent hatred. The extent of her stupidity and viciousness knows no bonds. The beauty pageant contestant insanely lost in her own motives who thinks poisoning her chief competitor is OK comes to mind. I picture her dreaming of being the High Preistess (Tina Turner) in Thunderdome.

  Palin Mayoral Experience – Not!
  Her endless citing of how being mayor of a small town gives her executive experience. In fact, the town has only 6,000 people and the current mayor admitted that the position is really just an executive secretary for the town council and doesn’t very little of anything.

  Palin Most Popular Governor – Not!
  She says she is the most popular governor in the US. In fact, get this, all of Alaska has only 680,000 people each of whom gets an oil royalty of $1,700 per year for doing absolutely nothing. Duh, I wonder why Alaskan’s like their governor. Hell, for a few dollars more, they welcome Hannibal Lecter.

Our parting thought is complete bafflement as to who exactly would vote for McCain and Palin? Are they out of their freaking minds? Do they not read or think? Do they not breathe?

Let’s see, who should we vote for:

• Candidate #1 owns 8 homes, 13 cars, is worth $50 million, supports big business, refuses to help the middle class, speaks like an 80 year old going on 14, gets stressed under fire and misspeaks with increasing intensity, has an evil looking rich wife with a family fortune, has rallies that resemble 1938 Germany with hatred and booing, and is running with a young VP with little experience, obviously few smarts, acts like an high school cheerleader, and thinks raped girls should pay for their rape kits and then keep the baby.
• Candidate #2 seems intelligent, quick witted, owns a nice home, is worth a few million, is calm under fire, appears too slick at times but gets better each day, makes few gaffes, understands and clearly speaks to all issues, has a bitchy looking wife who speaks ok, had rallies here and abroad where many 1,000’s cheered with positivism, and runs with a VP who has very lengthy and broad experience, though he puts his foot in his otherwise intelligent mouth on occasion.

Palin Flakes

As if McCain’s recent faltering and senior moments weren’t embarrassing enough, his spiteful choice for VP of the inexperienced, provincial, narrow-minded, and self-espoused “hockey mom” named Sara Palin, seals his fate. Few know what could have led McCain to such a nonsensical and dangerous choice for VP. Perhaps it was a desire to go down in a blazing death-at-the-Alamo scenario. McCain and the current remnants of the GOP give new meaning to “cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face”. Or perhaps he wanted to punish the GOP for rejecting his initial choice of Joe Lieberman.

As unimaginable as it may seem, Ms. Palin embodies every worse attribute one could imagine for a VP candidate of a world power. To wit, she:

• emits a constant stream of trite, childish colloquialisms
• repeatedly winks at the camera like a 7 year-old trying to look cute
• thinks just being near Russia gives her foreign policy experience
• thinks adjacency of Canada gives yet more foreign policy experience
• thinks Russia overflies Alaska giving her security experience even though the Russian have not overflown Alaska for obvious reasons
• thinks if her husband raped your daughter and made her pregnant, your daughter must carry the baby.
• feels if a girl is raped, she would have to pay for a rape kit
• talks like a cross between a dim-witted beauty pageant contestant, a small-minded mother of an uncontrolled brood, and a squeaky-voiced Sunday school teacher.
• when interviewed before being nominated, in all seriousness, said she didn’t know what a VP does then later pretended she was trying to make a joke
• after a month of coaching she was asked again about her foreign policy experience and incredibly repeated how her proximity to Russia gives her significant experience without any contact.
• paraded the boy who knocked up her daughter on the national stage to offset his mistake even though his personal Internet page portrayed himself as a profane, fuck-the-world, Joe Six Pack Jr.
• thinks she represents America because she can relate to, as she said, “Joe Six Pack”, apparently without realizing that vernacular is an insulting caricature of beer-bellied couch potatoes who burp, fart, and scratch their asses while commiserating how they’d love to have a go at Ms. Palin.
• actually believes being the mayor of a rural Alaskan town of 6,000 and a few months as governor of a state with only 680k people makes her the best VP choice. By that criteria, there are 100′s of better qualified people.
• parroted rehearsed lines in her one and only VP debate and when a question was posed on nuclear war options, looked like a deer in headlights and reverted to the dim-witted pageant contestant rambling nonsense as she searched for canned lines to piece together.

It strains credulity that Ms. Palin could hold any public office with these well publicized and known aspects. She is to Hillary Clinton what a flea is to a lion. She has become a laughing stock both here and especially abroad. If she and McCain are somehow, by a sick freak of fate, allowed to ascend to Washington’s throne, the diminishment of American dominance on the world stage will be complete.

We urge all Americans to use their vote in November to assure with full certainty that the travesty of McCain-Palin are kept as far from Washington as possible. As Republicans, we cannot allow them to further tarnish what remains of our image. As Democrats, we cannot allow such a pair to crush what little momentum we have mustered. As Americans, we cannot allow the government to be hijacked any further. It has already become the government of business, by business, and for business.

Uber Lies

Just prior to the 1st 2008 presidential debate McCain threatened to cancel so he could return to Washington to put the bail out on track. An embarrassed McCain soon found he had no meaningful role in the process and was further chagrined when several staunch republican told him to hit the road. So, he headed back to the debate where he was essentially a no show by presenting such a lack of clarity and presence as to be non-existent.

McCain shocked many by his repeated meandering off topic, avoidance of direct answers, hesitations for long periods, and his reiterating of simplistic, child-like attempts to mock his opponent. It was so very sad to see a once great man publicly reduced to a series of senior moments.

Even more tragic is how GOP leaders, some pundits and even newscasters attempted to portray McCain’s performance as outstanding or exemplary. One can only hope they are in a state of collective denial and were attempting to manipulate through the principle of “tell a lie loud enough and often enough and it will believed”. By either rationale, the GOP is seriously ill if not close to extinction. The whole episode boggles the mind.

Do those who remain of the republican party really believe the public is that stupid? Or, worse, is the public so stupid as to believe those who think they are? The only hope is that the majority of Americans smart enough to see the mockery that is the republican party and will come out of the woodwork at the 11th hour.

The end result was that there was no debate. The event was reduced to an interview with Obama explaining his positions and the diminished McCain reduced to continuously re-iterating his age, experience, and poor attempts to smudge his opponent with poorly timed and delivered snide chuckles. It was painful and disgusting to watch.

It was so very sad. Obama is essentially running without any professional competition. Luckily, this isn’t as bad as it could have been since he is rapidly and successfully evolving to the point where we can now recommend him as not just the only choice but a good one as well.
